Emmanuelle Khanh
In 1964, ex-model and stylist Emmanuelle Khanh created large, oversized glasses to better claim her own myopia. They were a great success, worn by many icons such as Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie. Following her death in 2017, inspired by his most extravagant models, her eponymous collection was revived to the delight of her fans.
